There is nothing better than bringing together a production team and getting to work on a new story. It's about creating story lines and storyboards, playing with ideas, designing sets, shooting film, and editing until the wee hours of the morning. That's what we do at RTL Productions. It's challenging, to be sure, but we love it!

FILMMAKING CAN BE ENLIGHTENING. FILMMAKING CAN BE SERIOUS. FILMMAKING CAN BE FRENETIC AS WELL AS INFURIATING. FOR ALL OF THESE REASONS AND THEM SOME. . .
UP SECOND to be filmed is "PAST DUE!" There's not doubt that "PAST DUE!" is and has been our loftiest undertaking. The script was first written in 2000. Tweaks and societal changes, as well as collection industry rules and regulations have changed, as has technology. We are altered our expectations and hope to realistically begin filming by the late winter of 2021, once "NEVER AGAIN!" is "in-the-can!" Awaiting final funding hasn't proven to be a roadblock for us, though, as we are well underway with pre-production. So far we are 133 strong, with the film fully cast with two exceptions. We are in negotiation with two A-List actors and as soon as we sign them to the Family Film Making Team we will make the big announcement as far as their names and the roles they'll be performing. Nineteen years in the making sounds like a long time, and you can best believe the screenwriter of "PAST DUE!" feels it's been a century in coming; but the key is it will be made when the time is absolutely perfect. That's the ONLY way it can turn out to be the best it possibly can be! Like what has occurred with "NEVER AGAIN!" the timing was essential to get to work on it ASAP, and in the process, while it may have seemed to take somewhat of a back seat, "PAST DUE!" will be as relevant at the time IT is shot as will all of our features. We are living in eerily reminiscent times, friends. A whole new generation of eyes need to be opened to the very real assault on our personal freedoms that lurks well within our own shores; a statement that can be uttered in any country around the world. RTL is embarking on producing a high-quality feature film that more than simply touches on this visceral topic addressed in our upcoming "NEVER AGAIN!"
The Summary we've attached to the film at the IMDb website reads as follows:
"After a chance meeting of an elderly man, a teenage boy's life takes an immediate turn for the better - as he becomes determined to ensure that a certain despicable event in history NEVER AGAIN takes place."
This project is being undertaken with a powerful sense of purpose and an unbridled sense of honoring those who lost their lives during The Holocaust. Rather than enlisting A-List actors from Hollywood, this project will shine the light on, and call attention to many extraordinarily talented Michigan-based performers.
We feel that without the "recognition" factor that well-known actors would bring to the screen, the viewer will be able to immerse him or herself in the experience of viewing the film without the distraction which that star power might involve. With this film, we are certain to catapult the careers of several budding SUPERSTARS right into the national spotlight!
Auditions for "NEVER AGAIN!" took place on September 30, 2017 - and the results were nothing short of Spectacular! What an INCREDIBLE Cast we've selected to bring the story of "NEVER AGAIN!" to life!

It is with great sadness that our Director, the legendary Robert Conrad, "continued his earthly journey!" The Cast & Crew was gutted to learn of Bobby's passing back on February 8, 2020. What an incredible man, so full of talent, be it as an actor, a pitchman or behind the camera directing countless films, TV specials and a myriad of other productions in which he became involved. His enthusiasm, his candor and his marvelous sense of humor accompanied him wherever he went. He was, as they said back in the day a man's man, a director's dream, and one ruggedly handsome son of a gun. Sure wish we would have had the chance to share the set with you, Mr. Conrad...but when we finally get to the first shout of "ACTION" it will be called in your voice and in your memory.
Continue to rest in sweet, blissful and eternal peace. You will remain in our photos throughout!
